  • BLS for Healthcare Provider

The BLS for Healthcare Providers Course is a special course that is designed to cover core material including as adult and pediatric CPR. This part covers two-rescuer scenarios, complete with the use of the bag mask as well as foreign-body airway obstruction. Within the course work, attendees will also be taken through the use of the automated external defibrillator and the process of defibrillation. Once the attendees have completed the course successfully, they are then provided with an American Heart Association card, which gives them a two year certification in this area.

  • BLS for Healthcare Provider Re-Certification

This particular course is specifically designed for those students who have a current Healthcare Provider card. With this card, you will be able to show proof of your membership every time you are scheduled for a course. Once the student has successfully attended the class and passed the certification exams, he or she will be provided with an American Heart Association card before leaving class.  This card will provide you with a two year certification buffer.

  • Online Skills Check Off

This is a specially designed CPR training course that has been designed for those students who have completed an online training course via the American Heart Association. The American Heart Association recommends that this option be reserved for those who have completed an online course in the past. After the first part of the course, then you can go ahead and schedule a skills check off course that is completed in about 30 – 40 minutes. All these can be arranged by simply contacting the office in question and going through their normal process. The offices are usually open between Monday – Thursday 8:30 – 4:00 and Friday 8:30 – 1:00. The course teaches the students on the processes and the skill set that is required to manage illness and injuries within the first few minutes until the professionals arrive on the scene. The course itself covers a number of areas including General Principles, Medical Emergencies and Injury Emergencies as well as Environmental Emergencies. In the course outline, you will also learn CPR for all the age groups as well as the use of the AED. Once the student has completed the course successfully they will be given an American Heart Association card before leaving class. The card covers a period of two years.
